About

Making sense of a startup’s cash

Cassence is the agentic finance OS for startups and small companies in India. Its agent, Cass, works like a CFO who reads your books every night: by morning you know your runway, what needs you this month, and why.

What Cass does

You hand over your books once, in whatever form you keep them: an Excel or Google Sheet, a Tally export, Zoho Books, or a bank statement from any bank. Cass reads them, and then reads them again every night.

Each read runs 24 checks a CFO would run, written for Indian tax rules: runway, customers paying later, spending that jumped, GST and TDS due dates and more. Each problem comes with its cause, worked out from your entries, and what each option would do. Your chartered accountant can see the same screen.

Who it is for

Founders and finance leads at Indian startups and growing companies who want to know where their cash stands without waiting for month-end, and the CAs who look after them. You don’t need accounting software: a spreadsheet is enough to start.

What we promise

  • Read-only, always. Cass never writes to your books, never moves money and never edits an entry.
  • Calculated, never guessed. No AI model reads your books. Every figure is added up from your entries, and each card shows the working.
  • Your own key. Each company’s secrets are encrypted with a key of its own (AES-256-GCM).
  • Stored in India. Your books sit in a database in Mumbai. Uploaded files are deleted once they are read.
