Most of a CFO’s job is noticing.
Every night Cass reads every entry across every source, runs the 24 checks an experienced CFO would run, and tells you what it found in plain words.
It reads every rupee
Invoices from Excel, ledgers from Tally, bills from Zoho, lines from every bank statement. Matched, sorted and checked, without you lifting a file.
It names the problem
Not a chart to decode. The cause, the customer or vendor behind it, and what you can do this week. You read it in a minute.
It shows its working
Every figure opens to the entries behind it. Nothing is estimated by AI. It is your own books, added up.
Fluent in Indian books.
GST owed on invoices nobody has paid yet. TDS locked with your clients. The 45-day rule for MSME suppliers. Advance tax. The things that actually catch Indian companies out.
One read, every rule
Your ledgers, your bank and the tax calendar are checked together, so a GST bill is weighed against the cash you actually have.
Due dates that know your numbers
Reminders a week ahead, with the amount from your own books, and quiet once it’s paid.
A Monday, seen by Cass.

Your books, untouched.
It sees everything and changes nothing. That is the deal a CFO makes with a company, and it is the one we make with yours.

Cass reads Tally, Zoho and your bank files. It never writes to them, never moves money, never edits an entry.

What founders and accountants ask before they hand over their books.
What is an AI CFO?
An AI CFO does the reading a chief financial officer does. It goes through your books every night, works out cash, burn and runway, and tells you what needs you, why, and what to do about it. Cassence is the agentic finance OS that does this for startups and growing companies, and its agent is called Cass.
What do I need to give it?
Whatever you have: Excel or Google Sheets (a sales register, expenses, a cash book or a full ledger), bank statements as PDF, CSV or Excel from any bank, a Tally export, or Zoho Books connected read-only. You hand it over once, and you see how every sheet was read before anything is saved.
Does it work with Tally and Zoho Books?
Yes. Tally works from its Day Book export (XML). Zoho Books connects once, read-only. Excel or Google Sheets and bank statements work on their own too, so you don't need accounting software to start.
Is my financial data safe?
The agent is read-only: it never writes to your books, never moves money and never edits an entry. Each company's data is encrypted with its own key (AES-256-GCM), and deleting your company removes everything in one step.
Does the AI make up numbers?
No. Every figure is added up from your own entries. AI explains the numbers in plain words; it never invents them.
What does it check?
24 checks a CFO would run, written for Indian tax rules: runway, rising burn, overdue invoices, days to get paid, customers paying slower, dependence on one customer, falling revenue, gross margin, marketing efficiency, delivery costs, paying twice for the same tool, payroll against revenue, inventory, supplier bills, bills to check before paying, payment gateway fees, gateway money missing from the bank, GST and TDS due dates, and TDS waiting for refund.
Does it replace my CA or accountant?
No. It tells you what needs attention and why; filing and sign-off stay with your chartered accountant. CAs use it too: the same diagnosis for every client company, so they see who needs them before the client calls.
How soon do I see my first diagnosis?
The next morning. Cass starts reading the moment your books land, and reads them again every night after that.
