Cass, your agentic CFO
- Meet Cass, your agentic CFOCass reads your books every night, works out cash, burn and runway, and tells you what needs you, why, and what to do. What it does, and what it never does.
- The nightly readEvery night after 1 am India time, Cass reads each connected source, runs its checks on the latest books, and compares the result with the night before.
- Ask in plain wordsType a question about your money, such as when you run out of cash or who owes you, and get the answer from your books with a link to the exact screen.
- The 24 checks Cass runsEvery check Cass runs on your books, written for Indian tax rules: runway, rising burn, late customers, margins, duplicate tools, gateway fees, GST and TDS.
- Alerts, the bell and emailsAfter every books read, Cass tells you what changed: new problems, cleared ones, runway falling, customers going late. On the bell, by email and monthly.
Books and integrations
- Connect your dataFive ways to give Cass your books: upload once, link a live sheet, connect Zoho Books, run the Tally helper, or connect payment, store and payroll apps.
- Integrations directoryEvery source Cass can read for Indian companies: Tally, Zoho Books, Excel, Google Sheets, bank statements, Razorpay, Cashfree, PayU, Stripe, Shopify, Keka.
- Excel and Google SheetsHow Cass reads a sales register, expenses sheet, cash book or ledger in Excel or Google Sheets, lets you check each column, and re-reads linked sheets nightly.
- Bank statementsAdd a bank statement from any Indian bank as PDF, CSV, XLS or XLSX. Cass reads every payment, and you confirm the closing balance runway rests on.
- TallyTwo ways to give Cass your Tally books: upload the Day Book XML export, or run the small helper on the PC that runs Tally to send new entries every hour.
- Zoho BooksConnect Zoho Books once with read-only access. Cass reads your invoices, bills and payments every night, and never writes anything back to Zoho.
- Payment, store and payroll appsHow Razorpay, Cashfree, PayU, Stripe, Shopify and Keka sharpen your cash forecast and fee checks, without counting the same money twice in your books.
Your diagnosis
- Overview: the morning diagnosisThe diagnosis screen: runway, monthly burn and cash in the bank, then each problem Cass found, with its cause, figures from your books and options.
- The fix listThe fix list turns each problem into steps, most urgent first, and says what each buys: months of runway, money kept each month, or interest avoided.
- The cash plannerMove four levers (cut spending, collect faster, add a monthly cost, raise money) and watch your cash line and the month it runs out redraw at once.
- The 13-week cash forecastCash week by week to the end of the third month, built by fixed rules from your books: invoices, salaries, bills, loans and each tax on its own day.
- Customers and remindersSee what each customer owes, how late it is and whether they pay slower than before, then send a drafted reminder from your own WhatsApp or email.
- SpendingWhere the money goes, by category and vendor, against the 3 months before: the fastest-growing cost, the biggest suppliers, and tools you pay for twice.
- The tax and cash calendarGST, TDS, PF and ESI dates with the amounts your books show, on one calendar with customer invoices due in and supplier bills due out.
- Bank and historyThe Bank screen holds the confirmed balance runway rests on. History shows a diagnosis at every month end, side by side, and what changed between them.
- The monthly investor updateA one-page monthly investor update filled in from your books: cash, burn, runway, revenue, what changed and the fixes. Add highlights and asks, then send.
Team, CAs and security
- Team and rolesInvite a co-founder, your CA or an investor to Cassence and choose their role: owner, admin, member, accountant or viewer. What each role can do.
- Working with your CAInvite your chartered accountant with the Accountant role. They see the same diagnosis, fix list and tax dates, add statements, and keep filing and sign-off.
- Security and privacyHow Cassence keeps your books safe: read-only, each company encrypted with its own key (AES-256-GCM), stored in Mumbai, files deleted once read.
- If a number looks wrongWhat to check when runway, burn or a card looks wrong: the confirmed balance, books to tidy, a linked sheet that changed shape, or a check missing data.
