Ask in plain words
Type a question about your company's money. Answers appear as you type, each with its figures from your books and a link to the exact screen and item.
Open Ask
- Select Ask in the top bar.
- Press / from any screen, or Cmd K (Ctrl K on Windows).
- Before you type, Ask offers the most useful questions for your company right now.
Use the arrow keys to move between answers, Enter to open one, and Esc to close.
Questions to try
Type in Ask /
- How long will our cash last?
- What needs my attention?
- Who owes us money, and who is late?
- Where does most of our money go?
- When is our next tax payment due?
- Can we afford to hire, or what if we cut costs?
Ask also knows your customers, vendors and spending categories by name. Type a customer's name to see what they owe, or a category such as “rent” to see what it costs a month.
How the answers are made
Every question Ask can answer has its answer worked out from your company's own diagnosis, and your words are matched to it, including synonyms such as “runway”, “run out” and “months left”. No AI writes the answer, so a figure can never be made up.
See how Cass knows
In the live demo, Ask how it knows shows the working behind an answer, step by step: the entries read, the confirmed bank balance it rests on, the sums, and the check that ran.
