DocsBooks and integrations
Connect your data
The goal is simple: no founder should upload anything every month. Connect each source once, and Cass reads the new entries by itself.
Five ways in
| Way | Good for | After that |
|---|---|---|
| Upload a file | Any sheet, a Tally Day Book export, a bank statement | Upload again when you have new entries |
| Link a live sheet | Google Sheets, or Excel on OneDrive | Read again every night |
| Connect Zoho Books | Companies on Zoho Books | Read again every night |
| Run the Tally helper | Companies on TallyPrime | New entries sent every hour |
| Connect an app | Swipe, Refrens, Odoo, Razorpay, Cashfree, PayU, Stripe, Shopify, Keka | Read again every night |
All of them are in Settings, Books. Uploads and Zoho Books are also offered when you set up. Bank statements go on the Bank screen.
Read-only, always
Every connection reads; none writes. Cass never edits an entry in Tally, Zoho or your sheet, and never moves money. Keys you paste are stored encrypted with your company's own key.
Books and apps don't count twice
Swipe, Refrens and Odoo are books: their invoices, bills and payments become entries, like Zoho's. Razorpay, Cashfree, PayU, Stripe, Shopify and Keka report money your books already hold, so their records are kept beside the books and never added to them. See Payment, store and payroll apps.
