If a number looks wrong
Every figure comes from your books, so a wrong number almost always means the books are missing something. Check these in order.
- Is the bank balance recent?
Runway rests on the confirmed balance. If it's old, add a new statement on the Bank screen and confirm it.
- Is anything waiting under Tidy your books?
An account with no category or entries that don't balance can skew burn and spending. Settle them on the fix list.
- Did a linked sheet change shape?
A renamed heading or a missing tab makes the new read wait in Settings, Books. Approve or fix it there.
- Are the latest entries in?
“Late” and “overdue” are judged on the books' last entry. Settings, Books shows when each source was last read.
- Did a check say it can't run?
It names the data it needs, such as stock entries or a connected gateway. Add that source and the check runs on the next read.
